When deciding what to pack for traveling, skincare always on my list! I like to pack light, so I always pack my skincare to travel size bottle or just pack travel size skincare set that available in market. It is more easy to pack, and can help to avoid excess baggage. Laneige have their travel size skincare: Laneige Light Travel Kit that suitable for oily skin and this time I would love to write review about it.

There are 4 products in Laneige Light Travel Kit that comes in plastic ziplock:

1. Laneige Moist Cream Cleanser (30 ml)

This cleanser come in small pink tube and has rich creamy consistency. I only need a small amount rubbed with water to creates a lot of lathers. It has nice clean subtle scent that not disturbing me, which may suitable for people who doesn't like heavy fragrance on skincare products. I love how this cleanser cleans without make my oily skin feels dry or tight.

Ingredients: Water / Aqua / Eau, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Myristic Acid, Lauryl Hdroxysultaine, Lauric Acid, Pottasium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Fragrance / Parfum, Linalool, Polyquaternium-7, PEG-14M, Disodium Edta, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Silica, Bht.

2. Essential Power Skin Refiner _ Light (50ml)

This skin refiner comes in pink bottle and doesn't have any color and doesn't sticky, just like water. It has light fragrance that not disturbing me. I used cotton pad for applying the skin refiner on my skin. It can be absorbed easily through my skin and feels refreshing! It is also soothing my skin. I already used Laneige Power Skin Refiner before, and notice this toner really helps prepares my oily skin for the next step of my skincare routine. However, this toner contain alcohol and fragrance which may not suitable for sensitive skin.

Ingredients: Water, Alcohol, Glycereth-26, Dipropylene Glycol, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Niacinamide, Magnesium Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Butylene Glycol, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Ethylhexyglycerin, Zinc Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium Edta, Fragrance.

Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract - restore skin barrier function

Niacinamide - reduces skin inflammations, help minimise appearance of wrinkles, reduce hyperpigmentation issues

Alcohol - possibly irritating for sensitive skin.

Fragrance / Parfum - possibly irritating / allergic for sensitive skin.

3. Essential Balancing Emulsion _ Light (50 ml)

This balancing emulsion come in peach bottle and has creamy texture. It feels lightweight although it has creamy texture and can be easily absorbed through my skin. This emulsion also contain fragrance that smells light. I think Laneige need replace the packaging with pump type to make it easier to use this emulsion.

4. Water Bank Gel Cream (20 ml)

Laneige water bank gel cream is one of my favourite gel cream. It is come in blue plastic tube and has gel cream consistency. This gel cream is lightweight and moisturize my skin so well. It takes a little time to be absorbed by my skin, but it doesn't feel sticky at all, and helps control oil on my skin.

Conclusion

Overall, I think this Laneige Light Travel Kit is quite complete for skincare routine while traveling. I would love to add some eyecream to pack for my skincare routine while traveling though. This travel kit will suitable for combination to oily skin, and can be used for 2-3 weeks.

Hi! Maybe some of you noticed that I rarely post review for facial cleansers products. I rarely change my facial cleansers, but I have run out of my usual facial cleanser. So this time I bought COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser to try instead. And today I'll share with you my thought on COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.

Packaging

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser come in white squeeze tube. I love COSRX consistency with their packaging design, it always have clean minimalist design, and so this one. It is available in two size, 50ml and 150ml. The one I have is 150ml.

Ingredients

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Polysorbate 20, Styrax Japonicus Branch/Fruit/Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Saccharomyces Ferment, Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylexylglycerin, Betaine Salicylate, Citric Acid, Ethlyl Hexanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trisodium Ethlyenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA.

Why low pH cleanser?

Our skin's natural pH runs from 4-6, which is more good if our skincare products (also cleansing products) have identical pH. Most cleansing products are alkaline that have higher pH than our skin's natural pH that will cause our skin's pH to increase, leading to skin's dehydrated which can lead to another skin problems. Low pH cleanser will help keep skin balanced and hydrated which will lessen risk of irritration.

Texture, Fragrance, Results, and My Thoughts

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser has gel to liquid consistency. The gel cleanser comes in a clear gel and smell like chemical with hint of tea tree which some people may find it disturbing. I personally don't have a problem with the smell and I actually prefer natural scent or product that doesn't contain any artificial fragrance like this gel cleanser.

This gel cleanser creates soft lather when rubbed with water. The lather is quite a lot for gel type facial cleanser, and I love how it helps clean my face without make it feels dry or tight feeling.

Although this gel cleanser feels gentle, surprisingly it is able to remove makeup too (not all makeup though). However, I still prefer do double cleansing after put some makeup instead just cleanse with facial wash only.

I already used this cleanser for one month and no problem occured. I think this gel cleanser really works well and will suitable for all skin types even for sensitive skin one.
