It was my first time visit Bonifacio Global City and I'm interested in Saboten, the japanese restaurant that specializes in katsu dishes.

Agedashi 195 PHP
Their agedashi tofu is deep fried so the outer part taste a little crispy and soft inside. The sauce is good and enhance the taste of the tofu. The agedashi is served warm, which make this agedashi taste more delicious.

Saboten Special Set 595 PHP
This set is consists of white rice, one deep fried shrimp, one loin cutlet 65 gram, one tenderloin cutlet 30 gram, one crab cream croquette, and miso soup.

Saboten use japanese rice (has a sticky texture, rice that usually used for sushi) for their white rice. All the fried food are served crisp, light, and golden-brown. The crab cream croquette taste good but maybe for people who do not like mayonnaise will find the croquette taste "too heavy". Their miso soup is good, I even ask for seconds. They also handed out free fresh cabbage and the salad sauce is yummy and suitable with the cabbage.

Vanilla and Green Tea Ice Cream Combination 75 PHP
The green tea ice cream taste good and feels authentic. It pairing good with the vanilla ice cream.

Overall I enjoyed my eating experience in Saboten. Good places, good food, good ambience, and good service!

Dislaimer: All my opinion above are based on my personal experience. It may give difference experience with other people though.

Lately I started craving for healthy food, so I searched about healthy food restaurant in Jakarta and found Fedwell. Fedwell is quite famous in Senopati area especially for their who crave for healthy food.

The parking area was full when I visited there, but luckily they have valet service. Even though the parking area was full, but I didn't need queue to get a table in Fedwell on weekend lunch time. This place decorated with peach wall, small plants, and flamingo wall corner. The ambience is very comfy and cozy!

Near the entrance, they provide order forms and pencil. One order forms can only be used for one person order only. They have Fedwell signatures menu and choose do-it-yourself bowl menu. If you choose do-it-yourself bowl menu, you can choose the regular package (choose 1 base, 1 protein, 3 toppings, 1 dressing, and 1 crunch) or hungry package (choose 1 base, 2 proteins, 3 toppings, 1 dressing, and 1 crunch). So the difference between regular and hungry package is the amount of the proteins.

Regular package IDR 75.000,-
I choose Gigli Pasta, Salmon Steak, Charred Corn, Mushroom Party, Roasted Pumpkin, Balsamic Black Pepper, and Homemade Furikake.

The Gigli Pasta here is lily shaped vegan pasta cooked al dente. The Salmon Steak is fresh and didn't smell fishy. The Charred Corn is sweet, the mushroom party so tasty, but the roasted pumpkin a little bit not suitable with my taste (maybe because it feels not soften enough for me, but still eatable of course!), the balsamic black pepper and homemade furikake are tasty! Its taste delicious for me at all.

Instant Hydration IDR 30.000,-
It's cold pressed juice, combination for Coco Water, Pineapple, and Sea Salt from berrywell. It is not listed in menu, but displayed on their refrigerator, so just asked the waiter for their cold pressed juice. It feels fresh and good combination for me.

Overall I recommend this place especially for you who craving for healthy food. The healthy food here is so delicious, and the place is quite insta worthy because the pink wall and the flamingo.

Another Japanese food restaurant in North Jakarta! Kintaro Sushi is quite famous in PIK area, and had quite a long queue when I visited them. Luckily they have open kitchen area where you can see the chefs in action making sushi, which is interesting for me to see when queuing up.

Sushi
Kintaro Sushi have unique food presentation, they serve the sushi on mini beautiful wood bridge. You can choose your own sushi, but it need to be 6 or multiple of 6 in amount. When the bridge of sushi arrived on table, it will still covered with dry ice effect, which visually eye pleasing and make the sushi more insta worthy. They using fresh ingredients too, which makes this sushi delicious!

Kintaro Gyu Kushi Katsu IDR 180.000,-
I also try their famous Kintaro gyu kushi katsu (beef cutlet dish from Japan). It breaded and deep fried until medium rare before served with mini stone grill. The gyu kushi katsu served with 3 different sauces (sweet and sour katsu sauce, garlic sauce, and soy sauce). The beef cutlet taste so tender and juicy at the same time.

Overall I enjoyed their food. Although it's quite pricey, but it is worth it. Good places, good food, the ingredients are fresh, their unique and instagrammable food presentation, and good services.

Yay! There is another sushi belt feature spot in North Jakarta! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Tom Sushi opened their second store in Mall of Indonesia, North Jakarta. It is fun to have sushi from sushi belt instead of having the waiter to take my order, although it need some patience to wait my desired sushi!

Tom Sushi Menus are pretty much similar to any sushi restaurants: salad, sashimi, sushi rolls, ramen, gyoza, miso soup etc. There are 3 prices depending on the color of the plate: yellow plate IDR 10.000,- ; red plate IDR 15.000,- and blue plate IDR 20.000,-. For ocha is only IDR 3.000,- and free-refill (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

For ingredients freshness is good, but for their salmon freshness i prefer other sushi outlet (it is still good though). I recommend their Chuuka Iidake if you like octopus! Their chuuka iidake seasoning is so great.
