Sitting in an air-conditioned room for hours make my skin feels extremely dry, so I like to use body lotion to keep my skin looks healthy. I got the body shop almond milk body yogurt as a gift from friend and I thought that it is not going to be any different from others body lotions. But maybe I was wrong. Read my review below to know why.

Packaging

The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Yogurt come in cylindrical plastic jar with white coloured lid that has a picture of almonds on it. It has clean, simple, and modern look. It comes with one size only, 200 ml.

What the Product Claims

It is said that this body yogurt can moisturize until 48 hours, instantly absorbing, and non-sticky gel cream. Can be applied on damp skin after your shower, and specially formulated for sensitive skin.

At first I did not notice the ingredients is written on the back.

Texture, Fragrance

The body shop almond milk body yogurt has a gel-cream texture and bouncy consistency. This body yogurt have strong fragrance for me but I still love how it smells: sweet almond milk, although I am not fan of fragrance product.

Result

I try this body yogurt on dry skin first. The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Yogurt is lightweight, non-sticky, and felt cool when applied. The body yogurt easily absorbed through the skin and left a slight residue that went away after a few seconds and non-greasy at all. It helps moisturize my skin.

I also tried applied this body yogurt on damp skin after showering and yes it is still fairly quickly absorbed through the skin and non-sticky. I think this body yogurt will be my ideal pick for summer / humid weather, since it is non-sticky and non-greasy.

Hi! This time I would love to try Indonesia beauty product: Joylab Orange Rhapsody Mask. It is face mask from Joylab beauty and they have 4 variants:

1. Lychee Tea Mask (hydrates, lightens),

3. Whipped Cream Mask (prevent water loss and improve skin texture),

4. Tea & Roses Clay Mask (purify pores, soothes, and hydrate).

Description

A jam-like mask that helps to gently exfoliate and smoothen the skin with concentrated natural AHAs (a blend contains Orange, Bilberry, Lemon, Sugar Cane and Sugar Maple) and Vitamin Complex (Vitamin B3, B5, & C) which another wonder ingredient - a skin brightening complex that works on the skin's surface to uncover the radiance beneath, while increasing hydration levels in the process. Leaving it vibrant, and smooth.

It comes with transparent box and white Joylab logo on top. It has clean, simple, and modern look. Joylab Orange Rhapsody Mask is packaged in white jar with orange lid. It comes with one size only, 50ml.

I got a little surprised while read the manufactered information on the packaging. Although Joylab is Indonesia beauty product, this Joylab Orange Rhapsody Mask manufactered in Thailand. Their barcode looks a bit playful too.

How I use This:

Apply a thick layer over the face and neck. Leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Massage the skin with warm water to gently exfoliate before thoroughly rinsing. Although this mask is their daily mask series, I use this mask two to three times a week only because its exfoliating.

Texture, Fragrance:

Joylab Orange Rhapsody Mask has orange thick gel with grains of orange (it looks like orange marmalade, lol ≧◡≦). I can smell orange and lemon scent but it feels a little artificial. The scent doesn't disturbing me but I couldn't say I like it too.

Result:

It doesn't feel sticky when applied on my face. After leave it for 15 to 20 minutes, the gel feels a bit sticky. It is difficult to rinse the mask with cold water, so I use the luke warm water instead to easier rinse the mask.

I had rough and dull skin than usual maybe because I have to adapt new environment. This mask sure helps soothing my normal to oily skin face and helps moisturizing, supple, and brightening. I notice some improvement in one use only (not extreme but there is improvement).
